Worst plug protector ever
June 24th, 2009This is from Safety 1st, and they apparently don’t actually test their products with real babies.
And here is another kid on YouTube and if you watch the video, it’s same exact outlet cover from Safety 1st.
Piper likes climbing into the playstation
June 24th, 2009Piper likes climbing into the playstation. She’s into exploring in general, whether its the open door to the shower stall, the pantry and garbage can, or the stairs (have to keep that gate closed!).
I don’t know if all kids like to do this, but Sophie did the same thing at the same age

Best Mother’s Day Ever (and it’s not even here yet)
May 9th, 2009We went to the Japanese Steak House for dinner tonight. I was a little bit nervous about Piper and her sleep schedule, but I went prepared with baby food, toys, markers, paper, and I hoped for the best. It was a success! Here are some photos from the evening:
Before we went out to eat, we spent the day at the beach on Isle of Palms. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera, but we really wouldn’t have had time to snap any photos between Sophie running towards the water and Piper trying to eat sand. I have to say that the beach may not be my favorite destination until the kids are a little bit older. . . .even just a year. Piper did love the water though. The problem with her is that she loves it so much that she crawls right into the water, submerged head and all. She has no fear. By the end of our trip, her eyes were bright red and puffy from the salt water and sand. However, after her afternoon nap, she was good as new and ready for Yamatos.
